The program.

The Opening:

We start the 40 days with a customized ritual that you’ll do on your on or as part of an in-person retreat with me. In this ritual we open your devotional prayer. We may use specific sacred plants to support your process. This will clear your energy, give you strength and open the portal of the prayer. You’ll attune yourself to deep gratitude for your journey and this opportunity to evolve.

The 40 days:

During the 40 days you will devote yourself to your freedom from addiction. You will offer your devotion by giving up at least one substance or behavior and by meditating daily. In addition, we will meet at least once a week for an hour call, where you will share your experience, challenges, insights and receive support, guidance and clarification on the energies that are moving in your process. I’ll offer spiritual and practical wisdom and give you practices catered to your journey. You’ll be held in your process by the Creator, any supportive plants, and by me, Stuart Adam.

During your transformational prayer journey, you will likely have deep and profound experiences. You may experience your addictive patterns in whole new ways as you deepen in your prayer. For example, the addiction may jump to other substances - food, sugar, caffeine, devices, etc. This is a normal part of the transformational experience. You’ll likely experience the vibration, essence or root of the addiction, and from there you can transform it.

You will be challenged, you will be in the fire, you will get to know yourself in a way you never have before, you will grow, you will transform and eventually you will emerge.

The Closing:

After you complete your 40 days in your devotional practice, we’ll close the prayer with another ritual or retreat. Depending on your situation and your process, you may be assigned another closing practice, such as a fast or ceremony.

The Integration:

The remaining weeks will be focused on the integration of your devotional prayer in our weekly calls. Your practices may continue or may evolve depending on where you’re at.

Note:

I design the details of this program on a case by case basis, so aspects of the journey are customized to you and your needs.

Who is this Transcend Addiction Program for?

The ideal Transcend Addiction initiate:

This Transcend Addiction Program is for people who have worked on themselves and have discipline and a deep desire to transform.

This program is NOT for every “addict.” This is not for people in the depths of a serious drug or alcohol addiction, especially if they are physically dependent on a substance where detoxing requires medical supervision. If you are in this situation, feel free to reach out to discuss what would be required to prepare for this process.

This is for people who may have a history of hard drug or alcohol addiction and have already come off the substance itself, but are still struggling with addictive patterns. This is for people who are squandering their potential with Cannabis. This is for people with sex, porn, gaming and gambling addiction. This is for people who have been in SA, AA, NA, any of the “As",” and although successful in those programs, still feel a need for a deeper freedom from the addiction gremlin. This is for people who are lacking presence with themselves and their family because they are always looking for a fix, such as food, coffee, sugar, phone time or mindless entertainment. This is for people who feel beholden to something outside themselves that they are relating to in an unhealthy way. This is for people who are already living a generally healthy lifestyle, are awakened in many ways, but still feel the addiction gremlin inside.
